Borealis now fully supports authentic Mercury hardware on our cloud solution. This includes the LP and the legacy EP series controllers and their associated modules (single-door modules, dual-door modules plus input and output modules). OSDP readers can also be used with many Authentic Mercury controllers.<\/span><\/p>\n

PXL Controller Support on Borealis: Legacy Meets the Cloud<\/b><\/h4>\n

In our commitment to serving legacy customers, we introduced PXL Controller support on Borealis. This update facilitates an easy transition to the cloud, offering instant updates, enhanced security, and all the benefits of our true-cloud solution. Legacy customers can now seamlessly refresh their systems and embrace the advantages of the cloud.<\/span><\/p>\n

Support for OSDP Readers<\/b><\/h4>\n

Borealis now allows you to add a single OSDP reader to each bus of any controller type that supports OSDP readers (including NXT-MSC controllers). The ability to add multiple OSDP readers to each bus will be implemented in a future release, along with the ability to define custom behaviors for the OSDP reader\u2019s LED and beeper.<\/span><\/p>\n

Automation<\/strong><\/h4>

Allows allows you to create custom action sequences to automate system functionality. If you are familiar with Doors.NET and the Advanced Local Linkage functionality, automation is the equivalent feature in Borealis.<\/span><\/p>

Automation uses triggers to action the automation sequences and a trigger can be any event that is generated by the system and appears in live events. <\/span>The action examples include: lockdown multiple doors, toggle a door, change reader modes or temporarily change reader LED behavior.<\/span><\/p>
